1. Cancellation requests made at least 96 hours (4 days) before your photoshoot date incur no penalty.
2. Any payment processing or administrative fees charged by the original payment method (such as PayPal) will be borne by the client and deducted from the refund amount.
3. Cancellation requests made more than 48 hours and less than 96 hours (2–4 days) before incur a 25% penalty of your total booked price; the remaining 75% is refunded as SweetEscape credit.
4. Cancellation requests made within 48 hours (2 days) or less before incur a 50% penalty of your total booked price; the remaining 50% is refunded as SweetEscape credit.
5. The date calculation refers to the city where your photoshoot takes place.
6. Any processing fees required for the cancellation will be deducted from the refund amount.
7. If you paid using a gift card and cancel within the no-penalty period (item 1), the gift card is reactivated, subject to its validity.
8. If you paid fully with a gift card but cancel outside the no-penalty period (item 1), you'll be asked to pay the applicable penalty; we'll then help reactivate the gift card.
9. If you paid partially with a gift card:
• If the penalty is larger than your non-gift-card payment, you'll transfer the difference to proceed.
• If the penalty is smaller than your non-gift-card payment, the penalty is charged to that amount.
10. Cancellation is free if caused by circumstances from your SweetEscape photographer or by force majeure (natural disaster, pandemic, or death of an immediate family member).
