What did Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and Freud have in common? Well, they were born in Vienna, which is the capital and largest city in Austria. It is regarded as the City of Music due to its legacy from the world’s best composers and also dubbed the City of Dreams because it was the home of Sigmund Freud, the world's first psycho-analyst.

Vienna is a historical city so there are many museums, cathedrals, and palaces to visit. Some of the most famous are St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Belvedere Palace, and Schönbrunn Palace. For those of you who love to take photographs, Vienna possesses more than just classical buildings, but also parks and botanical gardens which are too many to mention all. Many of Vienna's famous parks include monuments, such as the Stadtpark with its statue of Johann Strauss II. The imperial Schönbrunn's grounds contain an 18th-century park which includes the world's oldest zoo, founded in 1752.

A great time to visit Vienna is spring which is between April and May; even though the weather can be warm, chilly or rainy. Just make sure you bring warm clothes which you can take off in layers. The high tourism season is just starting, so no long lines at attractions or inflated prices at hotels yet. In fact, the city is pretty much tourists free. But as a beautiful city, anytime is a good time to visit. The city is also easy to explore on foot as many historic attractions can be found within the compact InnereStadt (Inner City).

Come to Vienna and feel the atmosphere of this magnificent city. Get inspired just like Mozart and others like him did. Learn the history, taste the cuisine, and experience something unique.
