28 May 2018EXPLOREBY SweetEscape

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word "Paris"? Most probably your answer is the Eiffel Tower. The iconic landmark is easily the go-to spot whenever you set foot in the City of Love, making it the most visited paid monument in the world. Highly sought after and located in the world's most popular cities, it goes without saying that the place is almost always packed with tourists and locals. This might pose some challenges when you're planning to do a photo session with the monument as a backdrop. But worry not! Our photographer in Paris, Tim Moore, is here to offer us an insight on the 7 spots in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower where you can get a good view of the tower while avoiding the crowd. Check them out!

1. Alexandre III Bridge

As the most elegant, grandiose, and sumptuous bridge Paris, the bridge offers a spectacular view of not only the Eiffel Tower but also Seine River. It's definitely more than just a river crossing!

2. Bir-Hakeim Bridge

Although there might be a bit of people passing by during lunch time, this bridge is a vantage point to see the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River and perfect to evoke that dreamy feel in your photos. It's also guaranteed that the sun is almost always not in the way!

You might recognise this one if you happen to be a fan of films such as The Devil Wears Prada. Not only can you get a good view of the Eiffel Tower from this angle, but the famous Champs-Élysées is also only steps away!

4. Passerelle Debilly

Generally sparse, Passarelle Debilly is another option for those of you desiring a good view of both the Eiffel Tower and the Seine River. This footbridge also connects to other impressive tourist attractions in Paris, such as Quai Branly, where you will find the Musée du Quai Branly.

5. Place Vauban

Located further away from the Eiffel Tower, you can get a less close-up look of the tower, but no less dreamy and majestic. In this location, you can also find the monument of Emile Fayolle, Marshal of France during the Second World War.

6. Seine River Docks

Another less crowded spot to capture a good view of Eiffel Tower, Seine River Docks also provides a unique backdrop of the Seine River in all its tranquil beauty.

7. Trocadero

You can't recommend a good spot to get a good view of the Eiffel Tower without mentioning Trocadero Gardens, another famous and iconic place in Paris. It gets crowded very fast, so if you want to take photos there, best to do it early in the morning.
