If you have booked a photo session with SweetEscape for your prewedding, then CONGRATULATIONS! Of course, the first congratulatory note is for your upcoming big event and secondly, for engaging with our trusty service in the making of the best keepsake of a lifetime.
Don't know if you notice, but we're excited! We're just as excited as any couple who is anticipating their wedding bells. But before anything else, it’s important to make your SweetEscape prewedding photography session as smooth and as successful as possible. For this reason, let us offer you a few tips for your upcoming session.
Most of these tips are fairly easy and manageable. And when you follow these do’s and don’ts, we can assure you that you’re in for a wonderful and unforgettable time as a couple and a client. Ready? Let’s dive in!
Prior to the session, we’d like to encourage you to think of a concept or a theme for your photoshoot. Feel free to share and brainstorm with us on anything that you may think of as the main idea of your photoshoot. This is one of the most recommended tips because it helps a lot with the direction that your photographer wants to take in the session. So chat us up and talk to the photographer, your wish is truly our command.
Schedule determines location. Our photographers work around your most convenient timing before approving a certain spot because there are many factors to consider. For example : if you prefer a morning shot on a beach, then your photographer will recommend a certain location that best suits that hour of your preference. Arranging your schedule is also important so that we can maximize the session, prepare better and also allow you to continue with your personal agenda of the day.
Now that you have arranged a schedule with your photographer, make sure to be on time. Each session lasts for 2 hours, and while we tolerate minor delay, it’s for the couple’s sake to arrive on time and ready in the best mood.
When we talk about attire, it’s always best to go with what’s comfortable. Especially since we mostly shoot outdoor, then proper outfits based on the weather is key to making you feel at ease. Here's a pro tip: bring an extra pair of shoes to use in between your outfit change so you can rest your feet.
With SweetEscape, it’s a Rain-Or-Shine policy. This means that the shoot must go on despite of the weather. But fret not, our photographer can easily improvise on the location that will not disappoint you. If everything fails, a reschedule is always possible to a later hour or the next day. When this happens, it’s best to keep an open mind. Know that it’s our main priority to deliver only the best results, and that your cooperation is key in creating the best images of your prewedding session.
Short on posing ideas? Not sure how to stand, smile or rest your hands? Our photographer is always ready to help. But if you are still not quite there with the posing, please don’t hesitate to ask for more tips at any given time.
Last but not least, it’s about being confident and enjoying the moment! So be yourself, don’t hold back and let’s live your prewedding photoshoot to the fullest.
Make sure you are well rested, hydrated and fit enough for the photoshoot.
It’s a teamwork, and it begins with a couple who understands each other.
An outdoor photoshoot means a lot of attention, but try to shake off your nervousness. Afterall, we’re all strangers and you’re doing absolutely fine!
Yeap, remember the part about “ Be Yourself”? Try to let loose and not to force poses, or ask your photographer for posing tips.
Avoid carrying bulky items in your pants or even checking it every minute. Enjoy the moment to the fullest with your other half!
