Father’s Day is almost here! We are so happy to have that one day out of the year just for them so we can show them how much we love them. There are so many different kinds of dads in the world and even though they are all unique, they’ve helped us become the Rockstars that we are today. They believed in us, challenged us, and brought us up to be the best versions of ourselves. So to celebrate this awesome day for Dad, let’s talk about the kinds of Dads out there and tell us which one is yours.

The (Over) Protective Dad

He can be intimidating to all your friends and neighbors. He is tough and scary to look at. But this Dad will always be there to protect you and come to your rescue when you need him. He may not show it often but deep down, behind that tough exterior, he’s a softy and he loves you.

The Funny Dad

This Dad knows how to keep his family calm even through difficult times. He can surely lighten up the mood so you don’t have to worry so much. How? By his sense of humor. And although you may think you’ve heard enough of his dad jokes, he always has more.

The Homemaker

Believe it or not, some moms are just not equipped to be the homemakers we imagine and that’s alright because they are amazing in everything else. Luckily for us, some dads can take over in that department. This dad helps manage the household and cooks amazing meals. Pretty great partnership if you ask me. It’s all about balance and we love it.

The Cool Dad

He is cool for a lot of reasons, he’s fun to be around, his fashion game is on point and he is updated with the latest gaming and AV technology. Your friends can’t get enough of him and he enjoys it because that means he gets to spend more time with you and not be too obvious.

The Old School Dad

His facial hair is still inspired by old action movies. His taste in clothes and music needs an update and he drinks harder than you and all your friends, combined. But this dad gives the best hugs and will literally sit down and talk to you if you need advice. There’s no school like the old school.

Whichever one of these is your dad, this coming weekend don’t forget to tell them how much you love them. A dad can be anyone from your favorite uncle, your step-dad, or even your mom.
