I promise myself to accompany my daughter to experience one new thing she'd never tried before in her life every summer. Last summer (her 3rd one) was memorable because Skye used to be so scared of water. But together, we overcome it. She’s totally in love with water now and can do freestyle swim already. So, we booked a surfing lesson with professional coach to surprise her! And I told her “The only monster in this life is our fear. You beat it when you are 3, keep winning over it as you grow up".
Went to Italy back in June and did it SOLO! I planned it thoroughly before, but slight detail that I'd missed was making sure the instructor do speak English. Imagine paragliding with only 3 sacred instructive words; RUN, STOP and SIT. I was terrified but was mesmerised at the same time by the view of huge green lands with a beautifully shaped turquoise coloured river that will turn to another kind of beauty once winter's coming. I survived with minor sprained ankle but a full heart inside!
Our last summer trip was when we went to Thailand last year. We just wanted to take some break from our hectic daily life, but in that trip my boyfriend gave me a surprise! After more than 7 years together, finally he popped the question "Will you marry me?" 😍 Off course I said yes! And you can see my happy face was in that picture. I wish we can go back to Thailand this year with our favourite SweetEscape and take some photos before our wedding day!

Honestly I don't think there's such a thing as a 'Summer Body'. You'd want to keep your body healthy and fit consistenly all year round. But I think how you keep your body consistently healthy and fit is really by having a good balance of consistent work out and a balanced diet; not depriving yourselves of anything but not indulging too much on good food as well.
Of course when you are on holidays or vacations, you really should maximize the whole experience of wherever you are, so you should not deprive yourselves of any experience–including food–, but as I mentioned before, you should also not indulge yourselves too much. It's all about balance. For example, if you know that you're going to have a big meal that night, do a lot of activities like walking or working out in the hotel for 30-45 mins in the next morning. You should not even do it everyday, doing some workout every other day is enough. Basically, watch what you eat; it's all about balance.
Water! Wherever you go, bring water with you. I had to learn this the hard way because I was on vacation last year and I fainted out of dehydration. I didn't realize that I didn't have enough water. So wherever you go, fill up a water bottle with you, and keep yourself hydrated.
