With an Instagram highlights tab dedicated to her proposal-to-wedding clips and a vlog telling how it all happened, Camille Co breaks to the internet that she's now engaged with her longtime partner, Joni Koro.
Camille Co, one of the OG fashion bloggers in the Philippines, is also a fashion designer who does couture creations through Co-Exist by Camille Co. She's known for her striking OOTD poses in picturesque travel locations and a really appealing fashion taste, which, no wonder, makes her 474k Instagram followers double-tap on every post.
But behind every good shot or well-curated feed is an Instagram husband. Being a part of the OG "blogger jowas" (blogger boyfriends), Joni is that supportive partner who does all sorts of poses just to be able to take that perfect shot.
True to his commitment, Joni joins Camille on a work trip in Japan in August. On a day when they had no other plans but to chill and do some shopping and eating supposedly, it was Joni who had "other plans". Even when Camille was feeling under the weather on a hot morning in Tokyo, Joni managed to convince her to stroll around Rikugi-en Garden.
As a straightforward couple who talks about everything openly, Camille knew a proposal was happening this year, but she never knew when exactly. "I’d suspect every now and then but I’d always stop myself from assuming further. That back and forth got me all confused which helped him cause then he got me to the garden without me ruining the surprise", she narrates.
Then it happened. "I was busy checking photos when he suddenly knelt down on the bridge and asked me to be the only hand he’ll ever hold from now to forever", Camille shares.
Joni took the chance and he needed not to wait any further because he simply knew that it was the right time.
