You probably know her for her appearances on prestigious fashion shows or you've watched one of her TV flicks in the Philippines. Heart Evangelista is a celebrity, fashion icon, author, philanthropist, and artist with a jet set lifestyle that you could really recognize just by taking a scroll down her Instagram feed.
Despite her flight anxiety, as she mentioned on her recent blog post, this real "crazy rich Asian" flies to many countries in a year as part of her work, and of course, for leisure. Her travel photos alone could inspire you to work hard to be able to reach your dream destinations. But now that she's also into vlogging, you'll even be more motivated to hustle harder as she spills details of her travels.
In case you're wondering which cities and countries she enjoy the most, here are Heart's travel recommendations:
"Italy - hands down! I love all the quintessential Italian dishes like pasta, pizza, risotto, and of course, the gelato!" she shares. One of her best food memories in Italy was when she, together with her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, and a couple of their friends rented a villa in Como where they learned how to cook classic Italian dishes with the help of Italian chefs. If you need a detailed review, check out her Florence and Milan vlog that'll surely make you book for a flight to Italy, STAT.
Bias aside, Heart swears by the pinkish-white sand beaches of Matnog, Sorsogon. We could tell she's set foot in luxurious islands and resorts, but it is Matnog's beaches that she recommends. She even describes it as "some kind of dreamland", where she could really feel at home.
Heart loves traveling to Paris because of its soul and spirit that reflect its architecture, culture, and people. Besides both the classic and new fashion boutiques lined up along Paris' streets, it is a city that she wished to visit in her childhood years — but now, she flies to Paris regularly, as we all see from her IG posts.
Like Heart, include Egypt and South Africa in your travel bucket list now because she believes these two have the most amazing landmarks, culture, and histories that set it apart from other tourist spots around the world.
Aside from traveling for leisure, Heart also loves flying to different major cities around the world including Paris and New York for the Fashion Week. Being a fashionista herself, she loves the fast-paced activities — shows, fittings, and events.
Join Heart in her fashion escapes in Paris through her youtube video here.
Having all these opportunities to fly from one country to another, you sure wouldn't miss taking selfies or candid photos, just as how Heart does. "I just love looking back at them and remembering everything about the photos - the time, place, people I was with, laughs that were shared, and so much more. Life is just so full of beautiful moments, why not make them last forever through photographs?" Heart expresses.

Avengers, Assemble! On April 24th (or 26th for our American friends), everyone every where prepare to welcome the first summer blockbuster of the year and arguably 2019's biggest movie event: Avengers Endgame. Over the past decade and 22 films, Marvel Cinematic Universe have undoubtedly changed the landscape of entertainment industry.
The franchise has undeniably taken the world by storm, and has also taken viewers to stunning, exotic locations–both real and fictional; from the busy New York City, to the majestic Asgard; from the streets of Seoul, to the waterfalls of Wakanda. To celebrate Avengers: Endgame and to inspire you for your next holiday, here are six stunning MCU filming locations you can visit for your Earth's Mightiest Heroes-themed photo session!
Genius, billionaire, playboy, philantrophist. If these characteristics are ones that you aspire to be–or if you simply idolizes Tony Stark as much as a lot of us–then Los Angeles is definitely a place you should visit.
Mr. Stark had his mansion in Point Dume, Malibu destroyed by the Mandarin at the end of Iron Man 3, but you can still recreate his famous departure from Stark Expo at the Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual Arts or grab some delicious donuts at either Yum Yum Donuts in Playa del Rey, where they filmed the interior of that donut scene in Iron Man 2 (you can sit in the same booth as Tony Stark!) or Randy's Donuts at Inglewood, where Tony sat in the middle of the giant donut on top of the shop. Oh, but don't sit there, though... Or Nick Fury and Black Widow might come and get you!
London holds a special place in the Star Spangled Man with a Plan's heart, as it is the hometown of his long-lost love Agent Peggy Carter. It is also the place where a lot scenes from of the first Captain America movie: The First Avenger, was shot.
To recreate 1940s Brooklyn, Marvel Studios decided to film in locations such as Hackney Empire Theatre in East London, where the skinny Steve Rogers got into a fight with a loudmouth bully in the movie theatre, or Crocker's Folly in Regent's Park, a pub where Steve, Bucky, and the Howling Commandoes have a drink.
Beyond these filming locations, London is in itself a beautiful city and is filled with many historic and other filming locations places such as Borough Food Market and Leadenhall Market where they filmed Harry Potter's Diagon Alley, and of course King's Cross Station with its' Platform 9 3/4. London has so many filming locations that–as Captain America himself would put it–"I can do this all day".
Bring me Thanos! One of the coolest and strongest Avengers, Thor is named after the Norse deity, a legend from the Scandinavian lands of Norway, Denmark, and Iceland. Although Chris Hemsworth, the actor who played the Odinson, is from Australia, we recommend that you visit Vik in Iceland for a more unique travel experience.
Located 180 km south of the capital Reykjavík, this beautiful small village offers stunning natural wonders of its cliffsides and also the majestic Northern Lights at night. Visit Landmannalaugar and Vatnajokull National Park while you're there and although you might not have gone to Asgard, but as you stand in awe of the beautiful Aurora, the wise words of The Allfather Odin himself might ring in your head, "Asgard is not a place, Never was... Asgard is where our people stand". Who knows, you might have been standing in the mythical realm all along.
Oh, and yes... This is where they filmed Daenerys Targaryen's arrival at Dragonstone in Game of Thrones Season 7 too.
Wanda and Vision's love story was always doomed to be a tragedy right from the start as they eloped and hid in the old city of Edinburgh in Scotland. Being a tourist destination itself, Edinburgh might be the easiest place to recreate your Avengers scenes as seen in Avengers: Infinity War.
The lovers were discussing their plans to return to action at Cockburn Street when they were suddenly attacked by Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, two members of Thanos' Black Order. The ensuing battle happend at Royal Mile all the way to Waverly Station, where they were saved by the (super cool) interference of Steve Rogers, Black Widow, and Falcon. Don't worry, you won't be attacked by alien invaders when you recreate your scenes in those beautiful locations!
Wakanda Forever! Although King T'challa, also known as Black Panther, is the king of the superpower African nation of Wakanda, his trip to Busan, South Korea to apprehend the criminal Ulysses Klaue showed some of the best action sequences in the ground-breaking 2018 movie Black Panther.
Of course we would not advise you to recreate the car chase scene, but do take great photos at Gwangan Diamond Bridge. Don't fight (and throw your wig at another person like Okoye did), but do visit Jagalchi Market at Nampo-Dong where the casino scene was filmed and try the many delicious Korean street foods there!
Last, but definitely not least, visit Thanos' peaceful resting place after he snapped half the universe out of existence at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Many Indonesians speculated that it was filmed at Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud, Bali, but in truth it was filmed at the Banaue Rice Terraces in Batad, northeast of Baguio City, The Philippines.
The rice terraces, built by the ancestors of the indigenous people of Ifagao, is quite a popular tourist destination nowadays, and it is occasionally referred to as the "Eight Wonder of the World". The serenity of the place is the right place to contemplate your plans or to look back to your past, just as the Mad Titan did.
