October marks the transition from spring to winter in the Northern Hemisphere, so soon sunlight is a little bit precious. However, never fear because there are always places where the sun is always shining in Europe.

Greece

You can never go wrong when going to places such as Santorini or Mykonos in Greece. Surrounded by beaches, the sun will always be upon you when you go swimming or relaxing on the sand. The blue roofs against the blue horizon will always represent summer vibes.

Italy

Rome is a great city in October. You can still discover historic places such as the colosseum, cathedrals, the Trevi Fountain, and others while enjoying your favourite gelato.

Spain

Another country in Europe with a lot of beaches is Spain. In Costa Brava, on Spain’s north-eastern shoulder, are some of the country’s most unspoilt beaches. Of course, while you are there you can still visit the sunny cities like Barcelona.
