First or fifteenth, every anniversary deserves a celebration. This is a milestone that doesn't really happen every day to every person, so it's best to take advantage of anniversaries that come your way.
To make that occasion extra special, here are 5 ideas to do it:
A little drama wouldn't really hurt, right? Take a trip down memory lane and relive your special memories by going back to where you first met or where you had your first date, and do it all over again. Get all the feels by reminiscing on what you wore on that first movie date, or browse on that photo album of your first anniversary so you would never forget where you all started and get you reminded that only your love would take you both to more anniversaries together.
Anniversaries don't always equate to grandiose parties or fancy dinner dates. Especially if both of you have no much time to prepare, start your day by preparing a breakfast in bed for... whoever wakes up later! If you aren't a morning person, find a recipe of your comfort food and have it ready right in time for dinner. Your presence will always be the best gift, so make that 24 hours count.
Celebrate your marriage just as how you started. You don't really need a fancy party for it, but if you really want to, a bride deserves it all! Reaffirm your commitment by stating your heartfelt vows in front of the people who matter on the beachside where you had your honeymoon. You sure would feel the rush of emotions and memories on a special day like this, making a really momentous celebration of love.
Every couple dreams of having some days off... without the kids. And yes, you deserve it, and you don't have to be guilty of it! Take your kids to a sibling or trusty friend’s home and let them do the honor of watching over your children as you go on a staycation in a luxurious hotel or villa of your liking. Get your hands off of that phone and just spend the day or night without having to worry about anything. Cap the day off with a bottle of champagne and a nice dinner with the view of the city from your room. Sounds amazing, isn't it?
Of course, traveling surely is on your list. Book a flight to the city you've always been dreaming of! Take a quick escape and do touristy stuff. Ride bikes and take selfies. Eat street food and shop in local stores. Whether you're planning on visiting a beach city or an urban paradise, be sure to make the most out of your time together because anniversaries are meant to be celebrated your way.
