When it comes to tropical countries, you would most likely love it or hate it altogether. As a matter of fact, the tropics take up about 40% of the world's surface and is also home to more or less the same percentage of the world's population. If you aren't aware of the term tropical country, it generally refers to countries or nations located just along the earth's equator. So what's the weather like in the tropics? Well, expect tropical climate all-year-long; dry and wet seasons filled with humidity and annual tropical rainfall. On the bright side, tropical countries have so much beauty to offer ranging from its diverse natural settings to exotic animals (and people!). Fact of the matter is that these tropical countries actually attract tons of tourists to explore the exotic wonderlands. Happen to be a fan of the tropical climate? Here are some fun outfit tips for you to get through the rainy days in the tropics!
Imagine getting all soaked in the tropical heat and climate in your jeans as they slowly dampen due to the excessive sweat you're releasing... not such a great idea, is it? Denims are cute, but aren't suitable for just any ol' place and time. The jeans material is definitely great and durable for long-term wear; however not so much so in moments where the wet heat embraces your every move. If you must wear denim, then opt for a more loose/baggy style so that you dont suffocate more in all the humidity that surrounds.
Now, the next tip on our list is another obvi that you need to keep in mind. Anything leather is not recommended for the tropical rainy season. Similarly to denim, leather material is considered quite heavy and tend to stick to your body uncomfortably under certain temperatures and humidity levels. That is why you would usually see leather-wear to be more popular in colder parts of the planet where you would need to get warmed up instead.
Not telling you to drown yourself in the rain at all, but unexpected rainfalls are bound to happen in tropical countries. Viva la tropics! Instead of getting yourself drenched in layers or thick materials of clothing, you would want to have yourself in thinner pieces for a lot more convenience in terms of getting from one destination to another faster. If you would usually wear cotton or anything along those lines... you obviously would need to switch to a (way more) sheer type of clothing in order for you to at least feel some breeze.
We know, looking good is the key to feeling good. But sometimes (many times) in life, you've got to adjust every so often to differing circumstances. For this case especially, you would want to avoid anything too dramatic or complicated to wear. If you're into the pretty frilly clothings, or with straps here and there (which are undeniably cute), it's best that you hold it off for a bit until you go somewhere with a more suitable weather. "Cute" clothing tend to be less practical, and you would be restricted as to how much you would be able to move around.
We don't know about you, but tight tiny t-shirts are also one to consider avoiding in tropical temperature. The Triple T's aren't considered practical, as they would indeed "suspend" some movements that you would need to make in the rainy outdoors. Umbrella or not, your t-shirt is bound to feel more snug than usual; and no, this wouldn't look too good on you in the rain, now wouldn't it? As if that doesn't explain much, then consider your skin getting irritated due to the tight-ness of your shirt as it rubs on your skin. Anyone got time for rashes? We hope not! Loose fitted clothing is definitely one of the keys to consider.
