From her lavish Broadchella-themed despedida de soltera to the intimate yet wonderful wedding ceremony, could we just take a moment to appreciate and somehow drool over Nicole Tantoco’s journey from being a bride-to-be to finally transitioning to the gorgeous Mrs. Miko de los Reyes?
One-half of high society's latest "it" couple, Nicole Tantoco-de los Reyes, recently tied the knot with Miko de los Reyes at Sta. Elena Golf & Country Estate. A beautiful Filipiniana-themed ceremony took place, followed by a reception at Antonio's in Tagaytay. After all of the planning, preparation, and merriment, the newlywed needed, but more like, deserved a honeymoon—and the next thing they knew, they were off to Siargao!
Technically their mini-moon or mini honeymoon (yup, that's a thing!), the couple decided to join Miko's aunt and uncle for his birthday celebration with a couple of friends and family. Aside from ticking this place off of their bucket list, it was a chance for them to enjoy each other's company even when responsibilities await in their married life.
Such a laid back setting in an island miles away from the metro sure did give the couple some quality time. "It is so beautiful there, and it is so relaxing to just absorb the sights of daily life while trike-ing around or hanging out and watching the pros at Cloud 9," Nicole shares.
Of course, they never missed the surfing experience. Fondly known to be a haven for surfers, Siargao has those waves that are incomparable with any other location. "That feeling of catching a wave is just exhilarating! No wonder so many people get hooked on surfing and end up moving to the island", Nicole adds.
They also went island-hopping from Naked Island to Dako Island, where they enjoyed a feast of fresh seafood and liempo from a boodle fight. They also got the chance to visit Sugba Lagoon, the famous Instagram spot where a diving board in the middle of a tropical oasis is situated.
A perfect honeymoon you may call it, but what made their moments more meaningful is the fact that they were saved in form of photos through SweetEscape. Nicole and Miko usually do not bother taking picture on their travels, but this time, they let Janos, a SweetEscape photographer from Siargao, capture the best moments for them to remember. "It was such an easy and natural solution to think of using SweetEscape's service for our upcoming Siargao trip. We downloaded the app, booked our photographer, and specified a time and date for the shoot. The island was so familiar to him (Janos) and his camera, and he knew all the best places to shoot! It was very relaxing and casual, and Janos directed us where to stand or sit, and we felt like we were just talking and hanging out as he snapped away. When we saw the photos we were surprised because we didn't even know he had been shooting already! The whole thing was so fast and seamless and the photos were beautiful! So natural too. We thought it was a fun experience and would definitely use SweetEscape again," Nicole narrates.
SweetEscape definitely makes a trip memorable and convenient because you don't have to worry about getting nice photos of yourself, because a SweetEscape photographer could do it for you.
