There is always something special for couples who grew through their college hardships together away from home. We’ve all heard of stories where two lovers pursue their studies all the while enjoying the adventures that foreign cities have to offer them. You might know some of them or maybe are one of them!
The State, particularly Los Angeles (LA), holds a special significance to Casey and Marlene. They both studied there so the city is practically littered with fond memories of our dating days and some of the best times of their lives. This SweetEscape trip to New York is also a special for both of them, because they also had quite a lot of their sweet moments there.
"Surprisingly though, we never went to the magnificent New York back during our dating days. It was only after our wedding that we visited New York. We went during Christmas too, so as you can imagine, it was splendidly gorgeous, magical and every bit Christmassy! Somewhere along riding the horse carriage and strolling around Central Park, I think we fell madly in love with New York.
Claus here (our the eldest son) is no stranger to US trip too. We took him to US on a Christmas trip back when he was 3 years old and it was every bit a winter holiday to remember. This time, Caleigh is joining us for a summer holiday in New York because we want her to feel the wonderful atmosphere only United States can offer. So happy that now we have SweetEscape for that perfect family memory of a lifetime.
Just like every family, vacation is a precious and exciting time for us. It gets tiring of course caring for two children 24/7, but there’s also a sense of unity for both Casey and I. We rely on each other a lot and get to learn more about one another while discovering so many new sides of our kids too.
I think that happiness lies in the simple moments we share as a family, from walking down the parks of NYC, exploring the city, stopping by to eat whenever we please ( yes, we’re absolute foodies at heart!), and just being together the four of us.
And to make it even more memorable, we want to capture every rolling second as much as possible. We want to capture Casey and Caleigh’s innocence as they ran carefreely through the park. We want to look back and see the pictures where they are at their fullest selves, so happy and full of joy.
So thank you SweetEscape for eternalizing our wishes during our trip in New York. Harris was a dream photographer to work with, even the kids agree with me. Thank you so much for the effortless photo session. Your results speak volume of how our kids live a life well traveled and so dearly loved."
