“My husband, Jose, and I always make our marriage a priority. Through the years, we’ve found that our annual honeymoons, where we travel to places we’ve never been, just the two of us, play an important part in keeping our marriage fresh. As we travel, we are “forced” to have conversations, to get to know each other again, to explore new things together, and to adjust to changes in each other. We come back from these trips with a stronger bond between us and renewed intimacy in our relationship.

This year, we took the time to explore the southern part of Italy. We’ve always loved Italy for the friendly people and, of course, their delicious cuisines, and we wanted to see for ourselves just how beautiful the southern region was. It was as nice as we imagined, even more. We then continued our journey to Rome. During our SweetEscape session, we met Polina, our photographer and I remember being amazed by the stories Polina told us about the historical fountains, the lovely houses, and the sites that she took us to during our photo shoot. It was nice to meet a friendly face who could show us around, even for just a little while.

Jose and I took the time to plan our trip, to fit in the things we both want to see and do, and to make sure that we bring home something memorable to revisit later on. To have beautiful photos from our SweetEscape session is precious. We turned some photos into a nice book and placed it in our living room. That way, we can glance back at those memories, and we can get a bit of happiness in a simple way.”
