What is it that makes solitude so fearsome for some people? Have you ever noticed a friend or an acquaintance who finds it hard to go places alone, or even eat alone at their local café or restaurant? From the moment we were born, we were immediately held and embraced by our parents for us to not be afraid. Hence, we’ve gotten so used to the feeling of being near people so much, that we had forgotten how to enjoy moments by ourselves. Especially for those of you who have never done or tried this before your entire lives (so far), then we highly suggest you give yourself that extra push to do so. Get it together! Don’t have the money? Start saving! Not daring enough to go anywhere too far in the lands beyond? Choose somewhere closer! It doesn’t matter whether you opt to go by plane, train or even a bus… what matters is that it’s a solo trip consisting of you and only you. You might feel afraid or nervous, thinking of the endless possibilities of what might and might not happen. Our tip for you: don’t overthink things! You can opt to go on a tour group if you prefer a safer trip – who knows, you might even make new friends! In fact, it has been suggested by psychologists and the like for people to go on this solo trip at one point in their lives, in order for them to find themselves. Finding ourselves when we’re constantly around people we know who have endless expectations from us, is never easy. And most often, we are naturally shaped into what those closed to us want us to be. Go on this solo trip, wherever the place, whenever you’d like.

And because of that, you had to console and comfort your dear friend because…that’s what friends are for? That’s you caring for someone else, not yourself. This time, we're telling you to take some time off for yourself. Let it be about YOU, don’t let people bother or disturb your day. Enjoy the entire day being spoiled by someone else!
Surely often times you would feel the world creeping on you a little too much. Expectations, responsibilities, maturing, working – are some of your biggest burdens in life, we would assume. When these are all piled up, you would eventually feel as though you are falling to pieces. Close your eyes, feel yourself drifting away into the calm feeling of nothingness, and eventually, you’ll feel at ease, at peace and at one again with yourself.
